Fees Structure

Our calisthenic year is divided into three terms commencing in February and concluding with our Annual Display in November. In a year with Kallara, our students are required to pay their registration, annual competition & costume levy and three term payments.

Registration is paid directly to Calisthenics Victoria Inc., and covers registration with the state association, who in turn, negotiates Personal Accident Insurance cover for your son or daughter. In 2019, CV rolled out their online registration process so this payment is no longer taken by Kallara Calisthenics, but by Calisthenics Victoria directly through their online RevSport program. To register for 2022, head to: http://calisthenics.asn.au/performers/revolutionisesport/

Online registration for 2022 will open as of Monday 17th January. Soloists must be registered by the end of February and all other members by the 31st March. All calisthenics participants must be registered directly with Calisthenics Victoria.

The annual competition and costume levy covers each students performances at competitions and the hire of costumes, headdresses, stage dressings, apparatus hire/decoration and wigs from the College. Term fees cover coaching fees, venue hire and all College expenses such as music and video purchases and licensing, insurance, lighting etc. Fees must be paid by term and are due by the due date indication on registration paperwork. Late payments may incur a late fee penalty unless prior arrangements have been made with the College Administrator

Starting Dates

Our calisthenic year commences with our College registration day at the St Michael & All Angel Church on Saturday 29th January from 10.00am – 12.00pm. Our 2022 calisthenic season then recommences with our Tinies age group on Wednesday 2nd February, with all other age groups to follow.

Attendance and punctuality at every class is not only expected, but also a vital part of being a team member with Kallara Calisthenics. This also extends to all extra/holiday practices, competitions and the annual display. If, for some reason you cannot attend a class, you must inform your coach as soon as possible. Please don’t fear calisthenics if you intend on taking a family holiday during the calisthenic season; if we know dates as early as possible, we always aim to work around the absence, to the benefit of the team.

Membership and placement into one of Kallara’s competitive teams is determined at the beginning of the calisthenic year and is based on the age of the participant and the optimal needs of each section. For more information, please see our Team Selection Policy, located in our College Handbook.
